Welcome to the Pekingese Charitable Foundation website

Pekingese Charitable Foundation Happy Rescue Dog The Pekingese Charitable Foundation was founded in 1998. Our goal is to provide rescue services for homeless Pekingese dogs throughout the United States. We foster health research on topics relevant to the Pekingese.

PCF, INC. is a 501(c)3 NYS non-profit organization which depends on donations and various fund raisers to help rescue Pekingese dogs and to help provide them with necessary veterinary and foster care. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The foundation is overseen by a Board of Directors and by two Advisory Committees. Both are made up of dedicated Pekingese owners whose responsibility is to work towards the overall goals.

The PCF raises funds for much-needed health research, as well as funds to combat the problem of homelessness among Pekingese dogs.

We educate the public with regard to responsible stewardship of the Pekingese breed, Pekingese adoptions, and sponsorship opportunities.

Our volunteers rescue, care for and endeavor to re-home Pekingese that have been abandoned or voluntarily surrendered, in accordance with guidelines established by the Welfare Committee.

The Pekingese Charitable Foundation raises funds for veterinary research affecting our breed. Through partnership with the American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation and Morris Animal Foundation we sponsor meaningful health research projects.
